When Fred Cline visited his grandfather’s barrel room as a child, he remembers most fondly “the pendulum”, a very long-necked bottle from which he drank his grandfather’s wine. The bottle was held by the neck and swung, as a pendulum would swing, back and forth until the right moment was reached. Of course, the wine didn’t always make it to his mouth.
When you join a Cline Cellars wine club, we invite you to become a member of our extended family. In addition to the opportunity to collect California Rhône-style wines and Zinfandels at discounted prices, we hope that you’ll make a point of joining us for our exclusive members’ only events and tastings for which Cline is so well known.
